The bleed program is based on guidelines developed by the American College of Surgeons and the Hartford Consensus. A person can die from life-threatening bleeding in as little as 3-5 minutes, faster than many first responder teams can arrive.

Packaged in durable resealable poly bags, these basic kit modules contain critical control equipment to address uncontrolled bleeding emergencies. Each bleed kit includes compressed gauze for wound packing, emergency trauma dressing, trauma shears, nitrile gloves, permanent market, a step-by-step instruction card, and your choice of windlass tourniquet (CAT®, SOF® Tourniquet, or SAM XT®)

These kits provide two identical bleeding control kit modules with the medical equipment needed for emergency response. They fit into most existing external defibrillator cabinets without modifications and are easily identifiable upon sight, reducing the response time during everyday emergencies.

Features chest seals to address traumatic injuries from gunshot wounds and a hypothermia blanket as part of shock treatment. Each station contains eight individual bleed control kits in a clam-shell insert with hook-and-loop backing for fast distribution. What tourniquet options are available in your STOP THE BLEED® kits?

We offer your choice of windlass tourniquet, including the CAT® from North American Rescue, the SOF® Tourniquet by TacMed Solutions, or the SAM XT® from SAM Medical. All of these tourniquets have a similar principle of operation for tourniquet application, though slightly different bleed training is required with each to apply them quickly and effectively during bleeding emergencies.

Do your bleeding control kits meet state and federal requirements?

Yes. Our basic kit modules meet State Guideline Requirements for California, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington. Our advanced bleeding control kits conform to OSHA requirements and ANSI Standards for Bleeding Control Kits B.1.

Can these bleeding control kits fit in existing external defibrillator cabinets?

Our Dual Treatment Kit is specifically designed to fit into most existing external defibrillator cabinets without costly modifications. This compact bleed control kit fits into most existing cabinets without costly modifications. For larger installations, we offer dedicated bleeding control station cabinets for public access deployment.

How long does it take to receive custom or bulk orders?

Our bleeding control stations may be built-to-order to ensure the best dating possible. Please allow 3-4 weeks for lead time. For custom solutions and bulk orders, contact our Contract Sales team for specific timing and requirements.
