Stop the Bleed Kit Module - Advanced

A person can bleed to death from severe hemorrhage in as little as 3-5 minutes, faster than many EMS agencies can respond to the scene. Rapid, public access to bleeding control products reduces time to treatment and saves lives in incidents of severe hemorrhage. This is the basis for the Department of Homeland Security's "Stop The Bleed" program, a nationwide campaign to empower individuals to act quickly and save lives.

Essential components

This IFAK is the advanced version of the original Stop the Bleed Module and includes the vital components to Stop the Bleed, in alignment with the U.S. government initiative. The advanced kit has all the components of the intermediate kit, plus a hemostatic QuikClot dressing for faster bleeding control. Like all of our bleeding control kits, this kit comes with your choice of windlass tourniquet. Choose from the SAM XT from SAM Medical, CAT from North American Rescue and SOF Tourniquet by TacMed Solutions.

This module conforms to OSHA requirements and ANSI Standards for Bleeding Control Kits B.1.

This kit supports that mission by putting life-saving tools into the hands of teachers, bystanders, drivers, and others who may be first on the scene. Whether placed in a classroom, vehicle, office, or public gathering space, this kit provides the means to save a life.

Other kit options

The advanced loadout also is available as a fully stocked public access cabinet (a set of eight IFAKs contained in a grab-and-go carrier, with an optional AED-style metal cabinet). It provides the public with supplies necessary to address massive bleeding when and where it is needed.
