Intermediate Stop The Bleed Station

It is vital that the public is empowered to respond when and where incidents happen. Designed in compliance with the Department of Homeland Security's "Stop the Bleed" initiative, this complete bleeding control station is easy to identify, access, and utilize. The individual IFAKs each contain the essential tools to address severe bleeding, including an instruction card for quick and easy component identification and for use by civilians with little or no training. Eight individual IFAKs are contained in a pouch, held in place by hook-and-loop backing, making it fast and efficient to distribute individual kits to multiple people during mass casualty incidents. Rescue Essentials QuikLitters are also included for quick casualty extraction if needed (two are included with the complete kit, one is included with the "insert only" option).

The IFAKs contained in this kit are the intermediate version of the original Bleeding Control Station IFAK and include the vital components to Stop the Bleed, in alignment with the White House initiative. The intermediate kit goes beyond the basics and includes a chest seal (vented twin pack) to address penetrating chest wounds and a hypothermia blanket as a part of hypovolemic shock treatment.

The complete kit includes the wall mounted cabinet, two QuikLitters, and eight individual bleeding control IFAKs in the clam-shell insert.

If the cabinet is not needed, eight IFAKs in the clam-shell insert, plus one QuikLitter can be purchased without the wall-mounted box.
