The Baby Innovation Awards program honors excellence and innovation across the highly competitive baby care industry. This year’s award recognizes products that provide meaningful, practical solutions to improve the safety and care of children. 

Invented by Dr. Sam Slishman, an emergency physician and Chief Medical Officer at Rescue Essentials, the Slishman Pedidose was designed to help caregivers accurately dose common over-the-counter children’s medications based on a child’s weight, not age. The Slishman Pedidose delivers the correct volume of acetaminophen, ibuprofen, and diphenhydramine for any child up to 50 pounds, using a single, easy-to-read scale.
